Munichstift: homecoming after 13 years!

Anela Ayan and Thorsten Daum and his team at Sasse Group, Munich, are delighted that Münchenstift GmbH has entrusted all services for the largest care facility in Munich to them from 1 April 2021 for the next three years. It’s the biggest of a total of 13 Münchenstift houses in the Bavarian capital, five of which have caretaking services from Sasse Group. This includes routine cleaning, deep cleaning, surface disinfection, dishwashing, delivery and collection, laundry transport and waste disposal.

The house is surrounded by green space and caters to the needs of residents with a variety of offerings, including supported accommodation, care accommodation, sheltered care with large open areas and additional therapeutic services, hairdresser and podiatrist. There are plenty of leisure options too: a large theatre, a library and an on-site chapel.

Münchenstift is a non-profit company fully owned by Landeshauptstadt München [State Capital Munich]. With around 3,000 residents and a broad range of accommodation, services and care provision, it is the largest provider of services for the elderly in the Bavarian capital. The needs-based provision ranges from outpatient services, meals service and daily care to accommodation with care services, geriatric-psychiatric residents’ groups and hospice care. Münchenstift is the largest provider of elderly care training in Bavaria.
