Efficiency that lasts.

We recognise our responsibility for environmental protection and have firmly anchored this in our corporate policy. Our endeavour to continuously improve our environmental performance is reflected in our commitment to reducing both the direct and indirect environmental impact of our services. This commitment also extends to supporting our customers in improving their own sustainability performance.

In focus: ‘Efficiency that lasts!’

As a facilities management company, we focus on environmentally and climate-friendly practices. We focus on energy, water and resource efficiency. In this way, we reduce our ecological footprint and make a positive contribution to our customers.

Electromobility

Promoting electromobility is a key component of our business strategy. Our aim is to switch to electric vehicles for travelling to customers, our employees’ journeys to work and business trips.

Robotics

With the innovative use of mopping robots, we offer our customers a future-proof solution that combines cost efficiency, environmental friendliness and exceptional cleaning performance.

Energy management

Our aim is to reduce energy consumption in our customers’ buildings. In doing so, we focus on energy management and analyse the specific needs and structures of each customer property.

Cleaning chemicals

We are endeavouring to increase the proportion of ecologically certified cleaning chemicals to at least 50%. The digitalisation of daily purchasing and procurement processes plays a major role in this.

Resource-efficient FM

Resource-efficient facilities management (FM) is a holistic approach to managing buildings and facilities that aims to optimise the use of resources, reduce costs and minimise environmental impact.

Corporate Carbon Footprint

We have set ourselves the goal of achieving a CO2-neutral greenhouse gas balance in Scope 1 and 2 by 2030 and in Scope 3 by 2040.

Our vehicle fleet is the main source of direct emissions (Scope 1). The operation of company vehicles, both for management tasks and for operational activities, is a key factor in the GHG balance. Among other things, we are focussing on the electrification of our fleet in combination with renewable energy sources. We are also investigating the use of alternative fuels.

The energy consumed in our offices and properties causes emissions, particularly in Scope 2. All of our properties have now been converted to green electricity. The energy required to provide our services to customers contributes to the GHG balance, primarily in Scope 3. Among other things, we use modern and energy-efficient equipment and are constantly optimising our cleaning processes.

Scope 3 emissions result from the production and use of the cleaning agents we use. We are therefore increasingly focussing on more environmentally friendly and certified products and on manufacturers and suppliers who reduce their own carbon footprint.

The distances our employees travel every day add up to a significant proportion of our carbon footprint, which is why we promote decentralised mobility with the shortest possible routes, public transport, bicycles or car sharing.
